From card games to exercise and, of course, plenty of food and laughter, Butte's Belmont Senior Center has a lot planned on for the month of May.  Let's take a look at some of the things we can look forward to.  The Belmont is located at 615 E. Mercury and the number is (406)723-7773.

MONTHLY ACTIVITIES

  • Hearing Aid Cleaning with Robin will be taking place Wednesday, May 13th at 10:30am.
  • Beginners Line Dancing class will be Tuesday, May 19th from 11am to noon.
  • AARP Driving Course is Thursday, May 14th at 9am
  • Mother's Day Lunch is Friday, May 8th at noon.
  • May's Birthday Lunch will take place on Thursday, May 22nd at noon.
  • Changing Seasons Grief Support Group will meet Thursday, May 21st at 1pm, sponsored by Honeybee Hospice and Axleson's Cremation.
  • Pamela Longmire Dementia Training at the Belmont will be Thursday, May 7th at 2pm.  Cost is $25 and reservations are recommended.
  • The Belmont will be closed on Friday, May 22nd and Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day.

WEEKLY EVENTS

  • Bingo is played every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm.
  • Fresh cinnamon rolls and coffee are available for $1 from 8am to 10:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
  • Pinochle is played Tuesdays and Wednesdays from1 to 3:34.
  • Sneakers Exercise Class is held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 11am for $1.50 per class.
  • Wood Carvers meet on Thursdays at 8:30am.
  • Rides to doctor appointments and shopping errands are available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings for $10 per trip, times dependent on availability.
  • Rides to other appointments are available with 24-hour advance notice.
  • Foot Clinic - call for an appointment.  Cost is $15 payable to Peggy Dean.
