
Here is a look at July activities and the Belmont Senior Center
July is a busy month at the Belmont Senior Citizens Center on East Mercury Street. Here is a look at some of the events we have to look forward to.
WEEKLY HAPPENINGS
- Bingo is played every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm. $1.50 extra for blackout.
- Pinochle is played every Tuesday and Wednesday from 1pm to 3:45pm. Cost is $1 plus .25 per set.
- Foot Clinic - call for an appointment, (406) 782-8668. Cost is $15 payable to Peggy Dean
- Sneakers exercise class is 10am to 11am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Cost is $1.50 per class.
- Rides to medical appointments and shopping trips are available, please give 24 hours notice
- Doctor appointments are Mondays and Wednesdays, charge is $8 round trip, $5 one way, times depend on availability.
- Shopping Fridays - $10 charge, times depend on availablity.
- Fresh cinnamon rolls and coffee are available for $1 on Tuesdays from 8am to 10:30am.
- Salad Bar Fridays are back.
JULY EVENTS
- Movie days at the Belmont are set for Tuesday, July 1st, July 15th and July 29th.
- An AARP Driving Course is scheduled for Thursday, July 10th at 9am.
- Craft Circle with Lorissa is Tuesday, July 8th and Tuesday, July 22nd at 10:30am.
- Birthday Lunch is Thursday, July 24th at noon.
- Hearing aid cleaning with Robin is Wednesday, July 16th at 10:30am
- Grief support group with Honeybee Hospice and Axelson's Cremation is Thursday, July 17th at 1pm.
The wood carvers sessions and visits with the Tech Nurses will return in the fall. For details or further information on any of July's activities, please call the Belmont Senior Citizens Center at (406) 782-8448.
