
Belmont Senior Center lists busy June schedule of events
Summer is here and a busy June lies ahead at the Belmont Senior Center in Butte. Let's take a look at what's on tap this month.

WEEKLY HAPPENINGS
- Bingo is played every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm. Cost is $1 per game, $1.50 extra for blackout.
- Pinochle is played on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 1pm to 3:45pm. Cost is $1 plus .25 a set.
- Foot Clinic - call for an appointment, (406)782-8668. Cost is $15, please make payable to Peggy Dean
- Sneakers Exercise Class - Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10am to 11pm, cost is $1.50 per session.
- Wood Carvers meet on Thursdays at 8am.
- Rides for shopping or to medical clinics are available, please call (406)782-8668 at least 24 hours in advance.
- Rides to doctors and medical appointments are Mondays and Wednesdays, 8 round-trip or $6 one-way, times are dependent upon availablity.
- Shopping Fridays, dependent on availablilty, $10 per trip.
- Fresh Cinnamon Rolls and Coffee are available every Tuesday from 8am to 10:30am.
MONTHLY EVENTS
- Movie Days - Tuesday, June 3rd and Tuesday, June 17th.
- Craft Circle with Lorisa Tuesday, June 10th and Tuesday, June 24th at 10:30am.
- AARP Driving Course - Thursday, June 12th at 9am.
- Hearing Aide Cleaning with Robin - Wednesday, June 18th at 10:30am.
- Birthday Lunch - Thursday, June 26th at noon.
JUNE SPECIAL EVENTS
- Thursday, June 12th, The Springs at Butte Assisted Living will be at the Belmont for a presentation on assisted living services available at their facility.
- Thursday, June 19th, Axelson's Cremation and Honeybee Hospice will sponsor a grief support group at 1pm, call (406) 723-7773.
