Butte Central Maroons post weekly sports schedule
The fall sports season is off and running for Butte Central High School’s football, golf and volleyball teams. Here is a look at where Maroons fans can catch their favorite teams in action this week:
MONDAY AUGUST 31
The Butte Central golf team will be in action at the Park High School Invitational in Livingston to get the sports week started. Play starts at 10am.
The Maroons JV football team will be playing in the Jamboree in Hamilton and have a game at 3pm.
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2
Butte Central’s golf team will be back in action Wednesday at the Dillon Invitational being played at the Beaverhead Golf Course. Play starts at 9am.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4
Butte Central’s varsity volleyball team will be competing in the Southwest/Southeast A Tipoff in East Helena and have a match set for 12pm. The Tipoff Tournament features teams from the Southwest A and the Southeast A conferences.
Butte Central’s football team will be looking for their first win this season after dropping their home-opener to Lockwood. The Maroons will be on the road and will face another nonconference opponent as they head to Hardin to face the Bulldogs. Kickoff time is set for 7pm.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5
The Butte Central volleyball team will continue play at the Southwest/Southeast Tipoff in East Helena and will be back in action with an 8am contest.
