Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel to celebrate 7th Birthday on July 24th

One of the most beautiful and historical landmarks, the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel, will soon celebrate it's 7th birthday with a celebration that the entire community can enjoy.

Have you seen the carousel grounds?  It truly is a magical place for both kids and adults and offers a great place for a family outing or picnic and is a wonderful place for small gatherings.  There is a lot of space for people to spread out and even a wonderful and affordable snack bar in case you get hungry or just want a delicious ice cream cone.

In addition to the treats and picnic area, of course, you will find a carousel that was decades in the making and different relics from Butte's old Columbia Gardens.  The place is incredible.

You are invited to celebrate the carousel's 7th birthday on "Children's Day", Thursday, July 24th from noon to 4pm.  There will be free carousel rides and birthday cake for all as well as coupons for candy, soda and toys.  Carnival style games will be played as a fundraiser for the carousel.  At the end of the party the winning "Birthday Party" raffle ticket will be drawn, the winner gets a birthday party at the carousel, a $175 value.  Tickets are available at the Spirit of Columbia Gardens Carousel inside of Stodden Park starting July 1st for $1 each.
