Butte, Mont. – The Butte Community Fitness Foundation (BCFF) is excited to announce the 10th annual Montana Winter Festival, SnöFlinga, scheduled for January 31 to February 2, 2025, in Butte, Montana. This milestone event celebrates a decade of embracing winter recreation and community togetherness. SnöFlinga is a three-day festival showcasing a variety of winter activities and highlighting Butte’s incredible outdoor opportunities.

Activities include cross-country skiing, curling, ski instruction, ice skating, yoga, and more. It’s a free, community-driven event supported by local businesses, generous sponsors, and the dedicated efforts of volunteers. This year, SnöFlinga is proud to partner with Ability Montana to ensure that the event is accessible to everyone. Individuals with disabilities are invited to register and mark the box requesting accommodations. Ability Montana will work closely with participants to provide necessary support, helping make SnöFlinga a welcoming and enjoyable event for people of all ages and abilities. “This year’s 10th anniversary is truly a celebration of the community that has helped SnöFlinga grow and thrive,” said Brett Ueland, SnöFlinga Committee President. “We’re excited to bring back favorite events and introduce new ones that will delight participants of all ages and abilities.”

Key Highlights of SnöFlinga 2025:

● Opening Ceremony: Kick off the festival with a celebration at the Butte High Altitude Skating Center, 34 Olympic Way, on Friday, January 31, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Enjoy skating, warm refreshments, and live entertainment.

● Signature Events: Participate in the Frosty 5K Fun Run/Walk, curling lessons, and ski instruction across venues like Homestake Lodge, Stodden Park, and the Butte Community Ice Center.

● Family Fun: Kids can enjoy snow-filled activities at Kids SNöDay at Stodden Park and make cherished memories with their families.

● Unique Activities: Explore the magical Enchanting M experience at the Big Butte Parking Area and attend the Ski & Board Tune Party at 5518 Designs, 27 N. Main St., Uptown Butte.

● Fitness & Wellness: Embrace winter fitness with activities like yoga, snow skating, and skate skiing lessons in a fun and supportive environment.
