Let's face it, asthma can be rather challenging to deal with in a state like Montana.

From seasonal allergies to wildfires, there are certainly plenty of things that can contribute to and trigger an asthma attack.

Also, you may not realize this, but May is also Asthma Awareness Month.

Montana Asthma Control Program

The Montana Asthma Control program also collaborates with schools, clinics, pharmacies, and public health departments to help those struggling with asthma.

Their goal is to:

  • Promote school-based asthma education.
  • Support pharmacy assistance programs in Montana.
  • Encourage clinical quality improvement projects.
“Ensuring that every community has access to life-saving treatments is key to helping people stay healthy, avoid emergency care, and live full, active lives,” said BJ Biskupiak, Program Manager for the Montana Asthma Control Program (MACP) with the Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS).
