Great Falls Rings in the Holidays With Festival of Trees This Weekend
The holiday season is officially upon us and there are many who kicked off the most wonderful time of the year before Halloween ended.
But now, we can officially kick off the holiday season this weekend... and it's all for a good cause.
Christmas Trees: The Symbol Of Hope & Joy
When the Christmas tree goes up in the living room (or wherever you put it), a certain level of aura comes along with it. It's the kind of aura that gets the kids excited and adults reminiscing over all of the nostalgia that the most wonderful time of the year brings. You know - joy!
Christmas trees can also be a symbol of hope for many, especially for those within St. Thomas Child and Family Center.
This Saturday, St. Thomas will be hosting their annual Festival of Trees event this Saturday starting at 6 PM.
"Only 30 tickets left! Call 406-761-6538 to purchase yours!" a post on their Facebook page from Nov. 6 reads for the event, "Or come to St Thomas to buy and you can get a sneak peek at a few of the incredible trees up for live auction."
The event will benefit scholarship funds and help families within St. Thomas.
Festival Of Trees in Great Falls: Something For Everyone
The most coveted trees appear to be the wine tree and the bourbon tree. In addition to these gorgeous trees that are ready-to-take-home, there will also be a silent auction for Christmas gifts, mini trees, and more. You'll also get to enjoy a complimentary buffet and an open bar.
