Montana Toyota Owners Warned Of Major Vehicle Recall
Winter road conditions will be here before we know it and we'll all have to be extra careful when getting behind the wheel. And for a select group of Toyota owners, an extra step will need to be taken when preparing for the winter months.
Toyota Issues Massive Recall On Multiple Vehicles
According to a recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Toyota is recalling three different models due to a serious issue with the engine:
Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra, Lexus LX, and 2024 Lexus GX vehicles equipped with a V35A engine. Debris from the manufacturing process may contaminate the engine and cause the main bearings to fail, which can result in an engine stall and loss of drive power.
That's the last thing any Montana driver needs, right? Imagine being in a situation where you're out of town and the engine fails in the middle of a harsh winter day.
Unfortunately, owners of those models will be forced to wait for a solution.
There Is Currently No Remedy Available For This Latest Recall
What a bummer, right? According to the recall notice, the fix for the problem is "currently under development" but once it's available, Toyota owners won't be forced to pay for the fix.
