Williston Is Getting a Weekend Full of Games, Cosplay and Fun
If you are into video games, comics, cosplay, tabletop games, art or just having a good time with people who share your interests, BakkenCon is back in Williston this weekend.
The event takes place September 12 and 13 at the Grand Williston Hotel and Conference Center, with two full days of activities, tournaments, panels, cosplay and special guests.
One of the biggest names at this year's event is Isaac C. Singleton Jr., an actor and voice performer known for voicing Thanos in various Marvel animated projects, as well as Sagat in the Street Fighter video game series. Singleton will take part in a Q&A Saturday afternoon.

Something for Gamers and Fans of All Ages
Saturday gets started at 10 a.m., with tournaments beginning at 11 a.m. Visitors can take part in Mario Kart World, Pokémon TCG, Lorcana, Catan and Magic: The Gathering events.
There will also be panels featuring the 501st and Steven Guglich, along with the Isaac C. Singleton Jr. Q&A at 5 p.m.
And, of course, there is cosplay.
Saturday's cosplay contest includes amateur and advanced divisions for participants 16 and older, along with a junior division for ages 5 through 15. Contestants will be judged on quality, craftsmanship, creativity and overall styling.
