Deadly Accident Near Williston, North Dakota: Truck Rolls, Killing Driver
An unfortunate event that took place on Wednesday, September 25, close to Williston, North Dakota, resulted in the death of a guy who was 29 years old. The man was operating a Peterbilt truck at the time of the encounter, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, which had reported the event.
The crash happened around 10:00 a.m. on September 25, just three miles east of Williston. The driver was heading north on 130th Road Northwest, near the intersection with 48th Street Northwest. For reasons still under investigation, the truck veered off the right side of the road. In an attempt to regain control, the driver steered left, but the truck rolled multiple times before coming to rest on its roof.
Initial transportation to CHI St. Alexius Health in Williston was necessary for the driver, who had incurred injuries that were considered to be life-threatening. He was then transported by helicopter to Trinity Health in Minot, where he tragically passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the events that led up to the collision in order to establish what may have caused the car to leave the roadway. The name of the victim will be released once the family has been contacted. Our sincerest condolences to the family.
