Digital Land Posting: A Convenient Solution For North Dakota Landowners
The days of painting signs, pounding posts, and finding creative ways to post your land are now a thing of the past. You can now digitally post your land. For the 2024-25 hunting season, landowners who are interested in posting their private land online can do so by logging into their My Account section on the ND Game & Fish website.
Game and Fish can produce print material and digital information ahead of the beginning of hunting seasons, which begin in August, because the deadline for landowners to digitally list their land is July 1.
When the enrollment period is open, landowners who filed their land electronically the previous year have the opportunity to renew, add, or amend their posting designations. Any individuals who are submitting for the very first time can be required to develop a profile. When you are ready to post land, navigate to the "Land Parcels/Electronic Posting" section located at the bottom of the website and click on the "Search/Renew Land parcels" button. Additionally, the electronic posting system is connected to land descriptions that are derived from information regarding county tax parcels.
In addition to providing landowners with comprehensive instructions, the ND Game and Fish website also includes a list of commonly asked questions that apply to both landowners and hunters. I looked at the entire process, and it looks extremely easy for everyone.
As the 2024-25 hunting season approaches, this streamlined approach ensures a seamless experience for all involved, marking a significant milestone in land management practices.
