Get Informed: Weather Modification Town Hall Coming to Williston ND
On Thursday, September 26th, a public town hall meeting will be held in Williston, North Dakota, to discuss the future of weather modification operations in the counties of Williams and Mountrail. In advance of the upcoming vote, which will determine whether or not the county weather modification activities will be continued, the event will provide voters with the opportunity to get additional information regarding these projects.
Roger Neshem, a farmer from the Berthold area and a former member of the Ward County Weather Modification Board, will be speaking at the town hall meeting that supporters of ending weather manipulation are organizing. Neshem will educate the public and respond to any questions regarding the effects and efficiency of weather modification by providing insights and answering any topics that will come up about the issue.
In Williston, the town hall meeting will take place at the Grand Hotel, which is located at 3601 2nd Ave W. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. central time. Those who come can anticipate both a presentation that provides information and a question-and-answer session that is open to the public.
Before casting your ballots, voters in Williams and Mountrail counties will have the option to participate in this town hall meeting, during which they will have the chance to ask questions, talk about the subject, and acquire information.
If you're for it, or against it, this is a great opportunity to ask questions, hear both sides and form your opinion before heading to the ballot box on November 5.
