The Williston Fire Department (WFD) is set to host a public Oath Ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, to honor six firefighters who have successfully completed their probationary period.

The ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the John Kautzman Chamber Room at City Hall, 22 East Broadway. The firefighters being recognized are Brandon Bruno, Jaxon Cagle, Talissa Harris, Leah Jorgenson, Donna Knicely, and Tyler Uhlich.

Assistant Fire Chief Corey Johnson will deliver the keynote address. Fire Chief Matt Clark highlighted the importance of the Fire Department Oath, emphasizing its role as a symbol of the firefighters' dedication to the community and their fellow team members. "We are proud of their hard work and are excited for each of them and their families to join our fire family," Clark stated.

This event is open to the public, and community members are encouraged to attend and show their support for these dedicated individuals.
