A fatal shooting early Sunday morning in Williston has led to the arrest of two suspects in Tioga.

Man Fatally Shot in Williston; Police Respond to Early Morning Incident

At approximately 5:48 AM on February 2, Williston Police responded to a report of a man with a gunshot wound in the 300 block of 5th St SW. Officers and Williston Fire Department personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the victim, identified as 30-year-old Clay Michael Kyllonen, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two Suspects Arrested in Tioga Following Homicide Investigation

Investigators quickly identified two suspects and launched a search. With assistance from the Tioga Police Department, authorities arrested 30-year-old Kaylie Jane Langved and 30-year-old Tyler Roy Langved in Tioga after several hours.

Suspects Face Multiple Charges; Police Confirm No Additional Threat

Officials confirmed this was an isolated incident, and no additional suspects are involved. Tyler Langved faces multiple charges, including Class AA Felony Murder, Burglary, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Discharging a Firearm within City Limits. Kaylie Langved has been charged with Class AA Felony Murder, Burglary, and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.

Authorities expressed gratitude to the Williams County State’s Attorney’s Office for their support in the investigation. The case remains under review.
