The over/under for grumpy Montanans complaining in our comment section about national media promoting annoying tourists to travel to Missoula is set at 25.5.

Try to remember that out-of-state tourists are good for the economy. I understand you don't want the town flooded by those pesky tourons, but unless you want to eat out at Missoula restaurants seven times to keep them afloat and thriving, be thankful they're pumping money into the economy.

The national media company CNN constructed "America's Best Towns to Visit 2025."

Checking in #2 on the list was our own Missoula, Montana.

CNN did a good job of balancing the list with different regions of the country. The West, Northeast, Southwest, Northwest and Southeast are all represented.

The only town to finish higher than Missoula was Ithaca, New York. 

Right behind Missoula was Asheville, North Carolina.
