What to Expect at the 2026 Sweet Pea Festival in Bozeman
The 49th Annual Sweet Pea Festival is happening this weekend, August 7–9, at Lindley Park in Bozeman. It’s a celebration of the arts and has been an annual summer tradition since it began in 1977. It’s a great local event that residents and visitors look forward to each year.
In addition to art created by regional artists, there’s a variety of great food vendors. If you’re hungry, you need to get yourself a Tater Pig, which can only be found at the Sweet Pea Festival.
If you happen to be downtown on Saturday, August 8, don't miss the Sweet Pea Parade as it makes its way down Main Street. It’s scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM.

The 3-day festival brings people together for a fun-filled weekend unlike anything else in Montana. It’s truly a celebration of the Bozeman community. Gathering with friends and neighbors in the park makes for an unforgettable summer experience every year.
Each night also features a wonderful lineup of live music:
- Friday: Neon Rainbow, John Craigie, and The Strumbellas
- Saturday: Roses Pawn Shop, The Dead and Down, Boot Juice, The Nude Party, and Digable Planets
- Sunday: Daniel Rodriguez, Nik Parr & the Selfless Lovers, and SYML
Single-day and 3-day wristbands are available for purchase on the Sweet Pea Festival website. Make sure to buy yours early so you don't miss out on any of the weekend's events. You can find more information about wristbands and a full schedule at sweetpeafestival.org.
