Bozeman Radio Station Teams Up With Firefighters to Feed Families
The 26th Annual 'Can the Griz' food drive kicks off on Saturday, November 8, and a local radio station is teaming up with the Bozeman Fire Department to collect food for families in need ahead of the holidays.
Can the Griz is a community-wide food drive, and runs through November 22. The winner will be announced at halftime of the Cat/Griz game at Washington-Grizzly Stadium in Missoula.

If you're looking for additional details about 'Can the Griz' and a list of drop-off locations, visit canthegriz.org. On Saturday, November 15, 94.7 The MOOSE and the Bozeman Fire Department will attempt to 'Stuff the Station' with donations for the Gallatin Valley Food Bank.

Stop by Bozeman Fire Station #2 (575 W. Kagy Blvd) anytime on 11/15, and drop off non-perishable food donations. Cash will also be accepted, and will be used to purchase the most-needed items at the food bank. Donations can be dropped off at ANY fire station in Bozeman.
What began as a simple food drive between Montana State University and the University of Montana has grown into one of the state’s largest community efforts to fight hunger. It's about more than just bragging rights on the football field, it's about helping our neighbors and those who live among us. No family living in Montana should have to wonder where their next meal is coming from.
Every can, dollar, and bag of groceries counts. At the end of the drive, totals are tallied, and one university will be named the winner, but the real winners are the families who benefit from the generosity of both communities.
Join 94.7 The MOOSE and the Bozeman Fire Department for 'Stuff the Station' on Saturday, November 15 at Bozeman Fire Station #2 (575 W. Kagy Blvd).
