Both of these opponents will be familiar to fans.
Big Sky Conference
Change is good.
The Big Sky Conference has gone through several changes over the past few years. We have seen several schools come and go, but the level of competition from these schools is getting better yearly.
The Big Sky Conference has its strong points. Football, basketball, and track & field have all been on the national stage in the past several years.
The reason why the conference is strong is due to the schools that compete against each other. Montana State, Montana, Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Weber State are the top schools in the league.
These are the core teams in the league. Some of the schools that have left in the past include North Dakota, and UC Davis is heading to the Mountain West in 2026.
To keep your conference strong, you must add schools that will either maintain or further help push the league to new heights.
These two schools will have to step it up.
