Bride Tribe Approved: North Dakota’s Best Bachelorette Party Spots

Before you know it, it could be your turn. With that in mind, it's never too early to start planning or thinking about the big day.

Planning the wedding ceremony is serious business; it has to be beautiful and perfect.  Planning the bachelorette party is just straight-up fun.

When a friend of mine got married fairly recently, we went all out. We rented a mansion, had 20+ people there, played games, rented a party bus, and went dancing. It was a 3-day blur. A fun blur.

We went to Minneapolis for our shenanigans, but it got me thinking: where do most North Dakotans go for their bachelorettes? What activities do most North Dakota brides-to-be choose to do?

Bach-Activities

A study was done by Mental Floss and it found the most popular activities for bachelorette parties in each state by looking at Google search volume.

In North Dakota, the number one activity is having a spa day. I am 100 percent behind this. You can go out and get crazy, but what better way to prepare for the big day than with full spa treatments? Skin, nails, massage, cucumber water? North Dakota brides-to-be know what's up.

Bach-Destinations

Where are the most popular bachelorette party locations in North Dakota?

According to TLC.com, it's the Badlands. The source says a lot of people like to bike through Theodore Roosevelt National Park, and to that I say --No.

Look, it's beautiful and wonderful and definitely something you should do once in your life, but I'm just not seeing this as a primetime in the daytime bachelorette party location.

Instead, you could do what Tripping.com says and have a little fun in the cities. The source says there are several fun things to do.

In Fargo, you could hit up the bars downtown, or you could go see a concert at the Fargodome.

In Bismarck, you could turn up all down the Missouri River and have a floating bachelorette party.

Out-of-State Destinations

If you want to change things up a bit and get out of North Dakota for your bachelorette party, MadisonGreenCountryClub.com says the most popular destination is, of course, Las Vegas. Hit up the casinos, see a show at The Sphere, do it up Vegas-style.

The second most popular bachelorette location is Miami. Imagine yourself on a beach, getting a natural tan, eating all the seafood your heart desires, and don't get me started on Miami nightlife.

Nashville is the next most popular destination for bachelorette parties, and North Dakotans love it. There's nothing like bar-crawling around downtown Nashville.

Ghost tours, beignets, and Bourbon Street. YES.

Austin, Texas

Booming comedy scene, spas, warm weather. Could be perfect.

Scottsdale, Arizona

Poolside cabanas, tons of shopping, and plenty of fun tourist activities. This is definitely a place you should consider.
