What’s Going On at Kirkwood Mall? Another Store Is Out

There have been a lot of stores moving into the Kirkwood Mall lately, but it looks like one is about to leave soon.

According to a post on Facebook, Uptowne Loft Boutique, a mother-daughter clothing boutique, will be closing the storefront in the mall.

While this is sad news for our frequent Bismarck mall shoppers, don't worry.

This is not the end for the store. In the post, they said that they started as an online clothing boutique, so they plan to return to operating as an online store.

In the post, they also explained that they decided to make this decision because they are growing.

The owners also said they enjoyed having a storefront for so long.

"Being in a physical location gave us the chance to meet so many of you face-to-face, to laugh, connect, and create real friendships. All of these moments have meant everything to us. Those of you who came in to visit on your lunch break, every conversation, and every hug. Thank you for always making our space feel like home."

Closing Date

Uptowne Loft's closing date is coming sooner than you might think. The store will officially be gone and closed in the Kirkwood Mall tomorrow (Saturday, May 10th).

Remember, this isn't a goodbye to the store, just a shift to online. They said all online pick-up orders need to be picked up from the store before the end of business today.

People who have gift cards to Uptowne Loft can still use them for online purchases.
