Even though October just started, and we're focusing on all things spooky season, it's never too early to start thinking about the other fall holidays. Before we know it, Thanksgiving will be here, and we'll try to pick the perfect dishes for our holiday feast.

Without fail, no matter how much planning and prepping we do before the Thanksgiving holiday, we always forget at least one thing.

For many years, Walmart stayed open so people could make emergency runs to the store on the holiday. According to Four States, that changed when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

The retailer changed that policy and closed up shop for Thanksgiving Day.

With that in mind, I thought it might be a good idea to check and see what's "in store" for this year.

This Year?

What can we expect in 2024? Earlier this week, the Walmart company announced they plan to close on Thanksgiving Day. Don't fret, though; if you do a last-minute run to the superstore, they will be open on Thanksgiving Eve.

Personally, I think it's great that the stores are closed on the actual holiday. It's only right that everyone who works for the company can spend time with their families.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think the store should remain open on Thanksgiving?

Hours & Black Friday

Their hours on Thanksgiving eve are 6 am to 11 pm, according to Deal News. The source also claims the store plans on being open for Black Friday, following the Thanksgiving holiday. The hours are listed as 5 am to 11 pm.
