New Thrift Store Coming to Fargo-Moorhead Area Before the End of the Year
According to Valley News Live a new thrift store is opening in Moorhead before the end of the year, in November. Thrifted FM will be located in the former hockey office, next to Grand Junction Subs, at 415 Main Ave. Its website describes it as a mix of "nostalgia and now," so picture vintage and modern clothes, home goods, and wall-to-wall vintage items.
The owner posted the news and her excitement to Facebook and explained why opening the store in Moorhead is especially meaningful to her.
Moorhead has been my home since 2010, and now I get to dig my roots in a little deeper and build something here that I’ve been dreaming about for a LONG time.

Based on the store's description, shoppers can expect something a little different from a traditional thrift store. The owner says it's a place to browse and uncover hidden treasures, and that you should expect to see a burst of color and tons of personality.
I cannot WAIT to bring you along while I turn this big empty space into the colorful, nostalgic, slightly weird, community-filled thrift store that has been living in my head.
We don't know the exact opening date yet, but the store's Facebook page shows renovations are moving along quickly. Check back with us for more updates.
