Oredigger Volleyball returns home, Football hits the road

Wednesday marks the return to Kelvin Sampson Court for the Montana Tech Women's Volleyball Team as they prepare to host Montana-Western Wednesday evening in their 2026 home opener but the way they've opened the season it appears they're good to go on any floor.  The football team, on the other hand, has 2 home games under their belt and are looking good as they prepare for Saturday's first road game of the season, coincidentally also against Montana Western.  Here's a look at what the Orediggers have coming up.

VOLLEYBALL

WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 9 - VS. MONTANA-WESTERN, 6PM

Oredigger Volleyball has opened the season with an impressive 7-1 overall mark including their last 2 matches which were sweeps of conference foes Mayville State and Valley City State.  Wednesday the Orediggers will host Montana-Western at 6pm.  The Bulldogs are 3-6 overall but 2-0 in conference play.  The Bulldogs also beat Mayville State and Valley City State, both in 5 sets, both on the road.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 - VS. BISMARCK STATE, 6PM

Friday the Orediggers are again at home, this time against the Bismarck State.  The Mystics currently are 2-6 overall with an 0-3 mark in conference play.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12 - VS. DICKINSON STATE, 1PM

Montana Tech Volleyball wraps up their 3-game homestand on Saturday afternoon as they host Dickinson State.  The Bluehawks currently are 2-8 overall, 1-3 in conference play.

FOOTBALL

SATURDAY AT MONTANA-WESTERN, 2PM

After drubbing Ottawa, Arizona 48-0 in their home opener and dumping Carroll College 24-14 last Saturday, the Oredigger football team heads to Dillon to take on Montana-Western.  The Bulldogs are 1-0 after their season-opener in Havre where they beat MSU-Northern 49-35.
