Hunting is taken pretty seriously here in Montana. I know plenty of folks who rely only on what they can hunt and fish.

But that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for a little humor out in the woods, and that’s exactly what caught my attention in a YouTube Short I came across recently.

The video leans into something most hunters already know. No matter how prepared you think you are, the outdoors has a way of humbling you pretty quick.

Especially when nature calls at the worst possible time.

You might be thinking, well, you’re out in the middle of nowhere with nobody around; what’s the big deal? According to the guys over at Muley Freak, it’s a bigger deal than you’d think, and thankfully they took the time to break down how to handle the situation.

And yes, apparently there are multiple ways to make sure things don’t go sideways when you’re out there doing your business.

The video goes through four different methods, and honestly, each one is a little funnier than the last. It’s definitely tongue-in-cheek, but that’s kind of what makes it work. It’s funny because it’s true.

It’s one of those unspoken parts of being outdoors. Everybody’s dealt with it at some point; nobody really talks about it. So yeah, hunting is serious business in Montana, but thankfully most hunters don’t take themselves too seriously either.
