Which options are ideal for us, and which ones should we try to stay away from?

In their post about the 13 worst peanut butter products, 24/7 Wall St. explains how they used criteria including nutritional value, texture, and flavor to come to their conclusions. It draws attention to the possible health hazards of the usual ingredients found in commercially available peanut butter, including sugar, salt, and hydrogenated oils.

Avoid these additives and the health risks they pose by opting for peanut butter with minimal ingredients, preferably just peanuts.

 

For health reasons, it's best to avoid peanut butter that has a lot of additives, so look for peanut butter with few ingredients, if possible.
