Marshall and Ashley are Besties In Search of a Forever Home Together
If you listen to the Big Butt Morning Show you know that I am a huge advocate for adopting animals from local rescues. One local rescue that I mention on Whisker Wednesday is ARRR Rescue and Retirement Ranch of Williston. They are dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals and to the promotion of their adoption program.
I'd like to tell you about ARRR Rescue's Cats of the Week - a bonded pair, Marshall and Ashley. Marshall, a long-haired white cat with tabby patches, came to ARRR in 2021. He was very sick, in a lot of pain and extremely afraid. They could BARELY handle him. Marshall has made a full recovery and, although timid, loves attention. Recently, he suffered the loss of his best friend and was highly distressed. They moved him in with another cat, Ashley, and the two quickly bonded.
Ashley is pretty little tabby and also has a reputation as being timid. Not long ago, her sister was adopted out, leaving Ashly behind. Ashley has been at the ARRR shelter since she was a kitten, born in May of 2021.
Ashley and Marshall love each other and appear to be boosting each other's confidence. They are both beautiful cats and ideally would be adopted together. If you have room in your home and in your heart, please adopt an ARRR cat.
ARRR Rescue and Retirement Ranch is a large animal sanctuary serving Williston, North Dakota and surrounding areas. Sanctuary means that they are a safe, long-term home usually until end of life. ARRR is also a cat rescue, shelter and adoption facility. ARRR is full and will not be accepting any new intakes until further notice. Instead they work to find homes for the cats currently in their care. The number of animals remains small so that they can focus on quality care.
