Here is a great opportunity to walk off that lutefisk. The Boys from Company "B" are hosting the 41st Annual Gun and Antique Show this weekend in Williston. This popular event will feature over 60 vendors and over 175 tables displaying everything from soup to nuts. Event organizer Bob Stroh says "There's stuff there for everybody." You'll find antiques, collectibles, knives, jewelry, and firearms plus, western artifacts and leather products like hides and gloves and even baby moccasins. It's a great opportunity for collectors to buy, sell and trade their knives, collectibles, and antiques. You will find many unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for sure! It will be held at the Grand Williston (Formerly Airport International Inn), 3601 2nd Avenue West. Saturdays hours will be from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Sunday, they will be open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Gumbo
Finish out the day with a nice hot bowl of gumbo! Bras For A Cause is hosting its 8th annual gumbo cook-off and Masq-R-Aid Party. Come on down to the new armory in Williston for gumbo, music by Josey and the Whalers, and help decide who has the best gumbo in Williston. Doors open at 2:00 pm and gumbo will be served at 5:00 pm. Tickets are $15.00 at the door, and those that attend MUST be 21 or older as a bar will be in place.
We try to talk about things going on in the area. If you have an event coming up, let me know. You can drop me a line at scott.haugen@townsquaremedia.com. A poster is always helpful. I'll be looking for you at these events tomorrow!
