In previous years, the Williston Korner Lions engaged in fruit sales as a fundraising tradition. However, last year, they ventured into a new endeavor by organizing the Sink & Serve Cornhole Tournament, which turned out to be a tremendous success.

Encouraged by the positive response, they are thrilled to announce the second annual tournament, scheduled for Saturday, March 16th, at the Multi-Purpose Building in the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds, located at 519 53rd St E, Williston.

For those unfamiliar with cornhole, it's a popular game where players take turns throwing bags filled with corn kernels at a raised platform with a hole in it. The objective is to land the bags on the board or, ideally, through the hole.

Registration for the Sink & Serve Cornhole Tournament kicks off Saturday, March 16th at 11:30 am/central time, with a $80 fee per two-person team—a tax-deductible donation benefiting the Williston Lions. The cornhole action commences at 12:30 pm/central time.

Participants can enjoy taco in a bag and refreshing beverages. Pre-registration is available, and walk-ins are welcome on the day of the event. The tournament eagerly welcomes both teams and sponsors.

The funds raised from the 2nd Annual Sink & Serve Cornhole Tournament play a crucial role in supporting the Lions' missions and their ongoing efforts to serve and uplift the community.
